Affliction product data

Launched in 2005 in Seal Beach, California, Affliction carved out a distinct space in fashion through its aggressive, graphic-intensive designs. Founded by a group of friends with backgrounds in screen printing and graphic design, the brand's name was chosen to reflect the adversity they overcame in the cutthroat apparel industry. Affliction became the unofficial uniform of the mixed martial arts (MMA) boom in the mid-2000s, sponsoring top fighters like Randy Couture and Georges St-Pierre, which cemented its hyper-masculine, "Live Fast" identity. Its signature look involves all-over prints featuring gothic and heraldic motifs like angel wings, skulls, and crosses, often applied to garment-dyed and hand-distressed t-shirts and hoodies.
