Founded in 2020 by Desto Dubb, That's A Awful Lot Of Cough Syrup (often abbreviated as ALOCS) is a Los Angeles-based streetwear brand born from a viral law enforcement encounter. Desto Dubb, an entrepreneur and rapper with deep roots in Watts, California, transformed a police officer's remark into a cultural phenomenon. The brand quickly gained traction during the pandemic, evolving from Desto selling t-shirts out of his van to operating multiple storefronts across Southern California and Houston.
