Beach House product data

Beach House is an American musical duo formed in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2004, consisting of French-born Victoria Legrand (vocals, keyboards) and Baltimore native Alex Scally (guitar, keyboards). The band is celebrated for its distinct and consistent dream pop sound, characterized by hazy, reverb-drenched arrangements, Legrand's deep, enigmatic vocals, and Scally's atmospheric guitar work. After gaining initial recognition in the indie scene, their self-titled debut album in 2006 and subsequent releases like "Devotion" (2008) and the critically acclaimed "Teen Dream" (2010) solidified their status as standard-bearers for the genre. The duo maintains a strong, self-contained creative process, writing and producing their music to preserve their singular aesthetic, which they've described as a desire for their songs to simply exist without being oversold.
