Carhartt WIP product data

Established in 1994 by Edwin Faeh, Carhartt Work In Progress (WIP) began as the European distributor for the iconic American workwear brand Carhartt before evolving into its own distinct fashion label. Based on original Carhartt designs, WIP reinterprets these robust archetypes with a refined, contemporary sensibility, adapting silhouettes for an urban, style-conscious consumer. The brand’s identity is deeply rooted in the subcultures that embraced it, particularly skateboarding, graffiti, and music scenes of the 1990s. Signature pieces include durable canvas jackets like the Detroit Jacket and Michigan Coat, rugged double-knee pants, and the ubiquitous acrylic watch hat, all of which retain the core values of quality and durability from the parent brand.
