DVF Diane von Furstenberg product data

Diane von Furstenberg (DVF) was founded in 1972 by the Belgian-American designer, who arrived in New York and, with the encouragement of Vogue editor Diana Vreeland, introduced a new vision for modern womenswear. The brand is built on the legacy of its iconic wrap dress, a jersey knit design created in 1974 that became a symbol of female liberation and empowerment. The dress was revolutionary for its versatility, comfort, and flattering silhouette, transitioning effortlessly from the office to evening events and resonating with a generation of professional women. By 1976, over a million wrap dresses had been sold, cementing DVF's place in fashion history.
