Ferragamo product data

Founded in Florence in 1927, Ferragamo established its legacy through the inventive genius of its founder, Salvatore Ferragamo, a trained shoemaker who became known as the “shoemaker to the stars.” After honing his craft in Hollywood, he returned to Italy, combining artisanal techniques with a scientific approach to comfort, famously studying anatomy to create perfectly fitting shoes. This dedication to quality and innovation in footwear and leather goods became the cornerstone of the brand, which later expanded to include a full range of ready-to-wear, silk accessories, and other luxury products under the guidance of his wife, Wanda, and their children after his death in 1960.
