Moroccanoil product data

Moroccanoil began with a single, revolutionary product that pioneered the oil-infused hair care category. The journey started when co-founder Carmen Tal, a former salon owner, experienced a transformative argan oil treatment on her own damaged hair while traveling in Israel. Inspired by the instant restoration to shine and smoothness, she and her then-husband acquired the original company in 2008, launching the brand from Montreal, Canada. What started as the iconic Moroccanoil Treatment—a versatile styling and conditioning oil celebrated for its lightweight feel and signature spicy amber and sweet floral scent—has grown into a global brand.
