Founded in the mountains of Chamonix in 1984 by extreme sports filmmaker and professional skier Thierry Donard, Perfect Moment was born from a desire to unite high-performance technical apparel with a distinct fashion perspective. Initially creating pieces for his film crews, the brand focused on quality, style, and functionality. In 2010, the brand was acquired by the British-Swiss entrepreneurial couple Jane and Max Gottschalk. Under Jane's creative direction, the heritage brand was infused with a renewed style focus, evolving its designs into the statement-making, retro-inspired ski and surf wear it is known for today. Perfect Moment’s collections for women, men, and children are defined by their bold color palettes, striking prints, and a nod to 80s ski culture. Signature offerings include chevron-printed ski suits, star-emblazoned knitwear, and flared ski pants that transition from the slopes to city life. The brand’s North Star logo symbolizes its commitment to quality and adventure. Beyond skiwear, the brand has expanded into swimwear and activewear, maintaining its ethos of creating functional yet stylish pieces for every adventure. Distributed through its website and premier global retailers like Net-a-Porter and Saks Fifth Avenue, Perfect Moment has cultivated a following among fashion-conscious winter sports enthusiasts.
