Catalog coverage
Founded in Aarhus, Denmark, in 2012 by university friends Philip Lotko and Daniel Brix Hesselager, Rains began with a single poncho designed to reinterpret the traditional rubber raincoat. Born from the notoriously wet Scandinavian weather, the brand merges a functional, weather-ready approach with a clean, urban style. Its collections are built around a signature waterproof PU-coated fabric, which is used across its full range of outerwear, bags, and accessories. With a neo-Scandinavian aesthetic defined by minimalist silhouettes and a largely monochromatic palette, Rains appeals to a global, style-conscious audience that values both form and function.
