Founded in 2013 by Xiamen-based designer Shangguan Zhe, Sankuanz is a disruptive force in contemporary fashion, showing regularly on the Paris Fashion Week men's calendar since 2016. A 2015 LVMH Prize finalist, Zhe, who studied visual communication, channels a rebellious and hardcore spirit into his collections, blending disparate worlds of youth subculture, military uniforms, fine art, and spiritual iconography. The brand is defined by its fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics, expressed through deconstructed silhouettes, sharp tailoring, and oversized, gender-fluid shapes. Core product lines include sculptural outerwear, graphic-heavy streetwear, and precisely cut trousers, often featuring the brand's signature dagger motif—a symbol of its confrontational and protective identity.
